Process
A clear path from first conversation to a finished piece in your home.
Four stages
We keep the process straightforward so you always know where things stand.
Conversation
You share the space, the need, and any preferences for wood, size, or finish. We respond with options and a rough timeline.
Proposal
We prepare a written proposal with dimensions, materials, finish, price, and estimated completion. Revisions are normal at this stage.
Building
Once the proposal is confirmed and a deposit is received, the piece enters the workshop schedule. We update you at key milestones.
Delivery
Finished pieces are carefully packed and shipped. White-glove delivery is available in many areas; standard freight is also an option.
Materials and finish
We primarily use white oak, walnut, ash, and maple sourced from responsible suppliers. Boards are selected for stability and visual character.
- Solid hardwood construction
- Traditional and contemporary joinery as appropriate
- Natural oil or hardwax oil finishes
- No heavy film finishes that obscure the wood
Finishes are chosen to protect the surface while allowing the wood to age gracefully and develop a patina over years of use.
Lead times and capacity
Because we build to order and keep the studio small, lead times typically range from 10 to 16 weeks after confirmation. Complex or highly customized pieces may take longer.
We limit the number of concurrent commissions so that quality and communication stay consistent. If the current schedule is full, we will tell you honestly and offer the next available window.
